About Us
New Foundations Recovery & Reentry Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking cycles of addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and instability. We are committed to meeting every person with dignity and immediate support, ensuring that everyone who seeks help finds a pathway to long-term recovery, stability, and independence.
Our Mission And Philosophy
Our mission is to ensure that no individual seeking help is left without food, clothing, shelter navigation, or emotional support. New Foundations stands in the gap for those facing cycles of instability, offering both unconditional humanitarian assistance and a structured, long-term program for those ready to make lasting changes.
We believe that real change requires both internal transformation and external stability, and that people recover best when help is available at every stage. Our approach draws on the Stages of Change model and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, providing support that ranges from immediate crisis response to vocational, educational, and community reintegration. We are guided by a philosophy of “no closed doors”—ensuring transformation is always possible and that people are never turned away or abandoned on their path to recovery.
Our Approach
We believe that lasting recovery requires both internal transformation and stable external support. Guided by the Stages of Change model and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, our continuum of care spans from basic humanitarian aid to an 18+ month Action Phase that integrates clinical treatment, sober living, vocational training, and community reintegration. Our trauma-informed, nonjudgmental approach meets people wherever they are, supporting them at every stage—from crisis intervention to independent living—without discrimination or closed doors.
Our Leadership
New Foundations is led by a multidisciplinary team combining professional expertise and authentic lived experience. Our leadership includes experienced clinicians, peer support specialists in sustained recovery, and accomplished community advocates. Committed to accountability and continuous growth, we are guided by a Board of Directors with deep backgrounds in law, recovery, social services, and community development to ensure mission fidelity and transparent operations.
